(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Pacers have filled their last vacant assistant coaching position with former NBA player Popeye Jones, according to sources close to the Indianapolis Star.
Jones was an assistant with the Brooklyn Nets' for three seasons and joins the Pacers as Jim Boylen's replacement, who left the team in June for an assistant's position with the San Antonio Spurs.
Jones played for several teams during his 11-season pro career before retiring in 2004.
