(Pittsburgh, PA) - In the National League, the Pittsburgh Pirates continued their season dominance over the Cardinals with a 5-4 win at PNC Park last night.
Russell Martin drove-in the eventual game winning run in the eighth inning to expand the Pirates division lead over the Cardinals to two and-a-half games.
Matt Holliday had three-hits and a pair of RBIs for St. Louis.
The Pirates go for the five-game sweep of the Cardinals tonight beginning at 7:05.
