(Sonoma,CA) - It was a controversial finish to the IZOD Indy Car Series Go Pro Grand Prix.
On the final pit stop of the day with eleven laps to go, leads Scott Dixon and Will Power pitted together.
When Dixon left his pit, he made contact with a crew member of Will Power's team outside of the pit box.
After review, Indy Car penalized Dixon, as Will Power drove to his first win of the season.
Dixon was not happy with the penalty as he finished the day in 15th.
Dixon lost valuable points in the championship, he is now second to Helio Castroneves by 39 points.
Dixon was only six points back before the incident.
Indy Car will head to Baltimore next weekend.
