(Cincinnati, OH) - The Cincinnati Reds beat the San Diego Padres 3-to-2 in 13-innings at Great American Ballpark yesterday.
Joey Votto hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom half of the extra frame to lead the Reds to their fourth win in five games.
Xavier Paul tied the game for Cincinnati in the eighth inning with a pinch hit home run, a two-run shot that made it 2-to-2.
The Reds are 65-and-52 and open a road series against the Chicago Cubs tonight at 8:05.
