(Chicago, IL) - Shin-Soo Choo drove-in a pair of runs in the top of-the-eleventh inning and the Cincinnati Reds held on to beat the Chicago Cubs 6-to-4 at Wrigley Field Tuesday.
Choo hit the first pitch from Eduardo Sanchez into right field for a bases loaded single that gave the Reds a two-run lead in the eleventh.
Nate Schierholtz, Dioner Navarro, and Donnie Murphy all homered for Chicago, and Merrilliville, Indiana native Jeff Samardzija allowed four-runs in six-innings pitched in the no decision.
Cincinnati is 67-and-52 and three and-a-half games out of first place in the NL Central. The Cubs are last in the division at 52-and-67. The two teams play again this afternoon at 2:20.
