(undated) - In the American League, the Chicago White Sox tied the New York Yankees in the ninth inning and later won 6-5 in 12-innings Wednesday night at US Cellular Field.
Mariano Rivera was going for a two-inning save when Adam Dunn tied the game with an RBI single in the bottom of-the-ninth.
Alejandro De Aza tripled in the game winning run in the twelfth inning in giving the Sox a three-game sweep of the Yankees.
The White Sox are 43-69 and take the day off before hosting Minnesota in a doubleheader tomorrow.
