(Cleveland, OH) - In the American League, The Detroit Tigers completed a four-game sweep of the Cleveland Indians with a 10-3 win at Progressive Field last night.
Tigers' starting pitcher Max Scherzer won for the 17th time this season, a major league best, after two-runs in seven-innings pitched.
Miguel Cabrera raised his RBI total to 105 with three runs-batted-in against the Indians.
Detroit leads second place Cleveland by seven-games for first in the A-L Central division.
The Indians are 62-53 and host the Angels tonight at 7:05.
