(Chicago, IL) - The Detroit Tigers dodged a three-game sweep to the last place Chicago White Sox with a 6-to-4 win at US Cellular Field yesterday.
Miguel Cabrera tied the game with a three-run blast in the third inning, his fifth home run in six-games and his 38th on the season.
John Danks fell to 2-and-11 after leaving the game in the eighth inning with four-runs allowed. Danks hasn't won since July 2nd, a losing streak that extends through eight starts.
The White Sox are 46-and-73 and begin a series at the Twins tonight at 8:10.
