(Chciago, IL) - In the American League, the Minnesota Twins homered twice in a five-run inning to beat the Chicago White Sox 5-to-2 at U.S. Cellular Field.
Brian Dozier hit a three run shot in the fifth and Joe Mauer followed with a two-run homer later in the inning for the Twins. Adam Dunn and Conor Gillaspie each homered in the ninth for the White Sox.
Chicago is 44-and-72 after losing 3-of- 4 games at home to the Twins. They open a series in Chicago tonight against the first place Detroit Tigers tonight at 8:10.
