(Houston, TX) - The Cincinnati Reds pounded out 12 hits as they sent the hapless Houston Astros to their 100th loss of the season 10-0 Tuesday night.
Jay Bruce's fourth-inning grand slam was more than enough offense for the Reds and winning pitcher Mike Leake.
Leake allowed just five hits and two walks in 8 innings of work.
The Reds continue to hold the second National League Wild Card spot, and are 2.5 games behind first-place St. Louis in the N.L. Central.
