(St. Louis, MO) - The St. Louis Cardinals completed the sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates at home on Sunday with a 9-2 win.
The Reds jumped out early with two runs in the first and three runs in the second, powered by John Jay double and a wild thrown pitch.
The Pirates got on the board in the top of 9th with two runs.
The Cardinals now have a one and a half game lead over the Pirates for the NL Central Division lead.
