(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts returned to practice Wednesday as they prepare for game number two of the season Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
The Colts beat the Oakland Raiders 21-17 in the season opener last Sunday, a performance that caused owner Jim Irsay to criticize his team's performance again on Twitter.
Irsay's main criticism surrounded the protection of quarterback Andrew Luck with the owner concluding his tweet with "I DEMAND BETTER".
The Dolphins were also winners in their opener, knocking off the Browns 23-10 in Cleveland.
Linebacker Pat Angerer was back at Colts practice on Wednesday, but several key teammates were sidelined by injuries.
Tight end Dwayne Allen did not practice with a hip injury suffered last Sunday against Oakland.
Linebacker Kavell Conner and kick returner David Reed remain out with injuries suffered during the preseason.
Angerer missed the Week One win over the Raiders with a concussion.
Head coach Chuck Pagano says the other three players are "day to day".
