(Cincinnati, OH) - The Cincinnati Reds blasted four solo home runs and welcomed back rookie pitcher Tony Cingrani with a 6-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday.
Todd Frazier hit two solo shots, with Jay Bruce and Shin-Soo Choo each chipping in one.
Cingrani returned from the disabled list, picking up the win by giving up two earned runs in 5 1/3 innings of work.
Brownsburg native Lance Lynn took the loss, dropping to 13-10 on the season.
The Reds are now 1 ½ games behind the Cardinals for 2nd place in the N.L. Central.
