(Indianapolis, IN) - Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck may have succeeded one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time in the Circle City, but Luck says he hasn’t really thought about that much.
"I never viewed it as replacing Peyton," Luck said. "I just viewed it as an opportunity to play quarterback in the NFL, and it just so happened that one of the greatest of all time was here before me."
Luck and the Colts face Manning and his new team, the Denver Broncos on Sunday night at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts got some good news on the injury front on Thursday with the return of linebacker Jerrell Freeman to practice.
Freeman had missed Wednesday's practice due to concussion symptoms.
Freeman suffered a concussion in Monday night's loss to San Diego.
