(Cleveland, OH) - The Cleveland Indians didn’t have any better luck in the Wild Card game than their in-state rival Cincinnati Reds did.
The Tribe fell to the Tampa Bay Rays 4-0 in the A.L. Wild Card game, ending their season.
Alex Cobb scattered 8 hits over 6 2/3 innings to earn the win.
Indians rookie starter Danny Salazar took the loss, allowing three runs in four innings of work.
The Rays will now face the Boston Red Sox in the Division Series beginning Friday.
