(Chicago, IL) - The Chicago Blackhawks took yet another loss in a shootout, falling to the Detroit Red Wings 5-4 at Joe Louis Arena.
Darren Helm's goal in the 6th round of the shootout proved to be the game-winner.
Red Wings backup goalie Jonas Gustavsson stopped the Hawks' Andrew Shaw to preserve the victory.
The Hawks blew leads of 2-0 and 3-2 in the loss. Four different Hawks scored goals.
Chicago now has 12 losses in overtime or a shootout this year, and just 8 in regulation.
