(East Lansing, MI) - IU hung tough all night with the third best team in the country but fell short down the stretch falling to Michigan State 71-66.
Led by Yogi Ferrel, IU had a 2 point advantage at half time in front of a hostile Michigan State crown.
Ferrell had 19 points in the losing effort for the Hoosiers who only shot 67% from the free throw line.
Indianapolis native Gary Harris paced Michigan State with 24 points.
The Hoosiers fall to 12-7 with the loss tonight at 2-4 in Big Ten play.
