(Evansville, IN) - Northern Iowa used a strong long-range night to thrash Evansville 80-53.
The Panthers were 14 of 30 from 3-point range and opened the game on a 15-4 run.
Matt Bohannon led NIU with 17 points.
Blake Simmons was the leading scorer for the Purple Aces with 16 points.
