(South Bend, IN) - The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame face the Virginia Cavaliers tonight at Purcell Pavilion.
The Irish have lost two straight and five of their last six in dropping to 11-9, 2-5 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The latest setback came Saturday in Winston-Salem as Notre Dame fell to Wake Forest 65-58.
The Cavaliers have won three straight and six of their last seven as they enter tonight's game with a 15-5 record overall, 6-1 in the ACC.
Virginia is coming off a 20-point win over rival Virginia Tech Saturday in Charlottesville.
Tonight's game is the first of two regular-season matchups between Notre Dame and Virginia.
The Cavaliers will host the Irish on February 22nd.
