(Carbondale, IL) - Late in the season, Wednesday night’s 79-60 loss to Southern Illinois may turn out to be the one the Indiana State Sycamores want back.
ISU fell to the 7-15 Salukis on a night when the Sycamores scored just 16 points in the first half, and allowed 54 in the second.
Justin Gant led ISU with 14 points.
The hot-shooting Salukis converted 52 percent from the field, led by Anthony Beane's 22 points.
With the loss, Indiana State falls to 16-5 on the season and 7-2 in the Valley.
