(Sarasota, FL) - Indiana University wide receiver Isaac Griffith has been released from a Sarasota, Florida hospital and will return to Indiana with his family soon.
Griffith's father, Manchester University head football coach Shannon Griffith, tweeted that his son had been released from the hospital on Sunday.
Isaac Griffith was hospitalized last Monday after almost drowning in a swimming accident. Doctors placed him in a medically-induced coma for two days to allow his lungs to heal.
The redshirt freshman is expected to make a full recovery.
