(INDIANAPOLIS) - Lance Stephenson was huge for the Pacers yesterday, as they held off the Thunder 102-97 for their 55th win of the season.
Stephenson recorded his 5th triple double of the season, with 17 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.
C.J Watson led a strong bench effort for the Pacers, which featured 3 players in double figures. Watson had 20 points on 6 of 10 shooting, including four 3 pointers.
The Pacers out rebounded the Thunder 46 to 32, and shot 52% from the field.
With the win, the Pacers move closer to achieving their goal of the number 1 seed in the Eastern conference, which would give them the sought after home court advantage throughout the eastern conference playoffs. They hold the tiebreaker with the Miami Heat due to a better conference record. They can clinch that #1 seed with a win on Wednesday against the Orlando Magic, or a Heat loss in either of their last 2 games.
With the win at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, the Pacers finish the season with a 35 and 6 home record, the best in the NBA, and just 1 win shy of the franchise record, set back in the 1999/2000 season.
