(Chicago, IL) - The Chicago Cubs fell to the Arizona D-backs 7 to 5. The Cubs led 5 to 2 heading into the 9th innings but allowed 5 runs in the final frame. Justin Ruggiano had a solo home run in defeat.
(Cincinnati, OH) - The Cincinnati Reds won 5 to 2 over the Pittsburgh Pirates. OF Billy Hamilton had 2 hits an RBI and a SB in the win. Alfredo Simon got the win by striking out 4 in 6 and 2/3 innings.
(Chicago, IL) - Chicago White Sox were winners over the Detroit Tigers 6 to 4. Jose Abreu hit his 7th home run of the season with the White Sox compiling 10 hits as a team.
(St Louis, MO) - The New York Mets beat the St Louis Cardinals 3 to 2. Yadier Molina and Daniel Descalso both had RBIS in the loss.
(Cleveland, OH) - Behind 3 hits and 2 RBIS from Michael Bourn, the Cleveland Indians beat the Kansas City Royals 5 to 3.
