(Indianapolis) It was a big day for Pacers fans who like long range shooting, as the Blue & Gold has reportedly come to terms with two unrestricted free agents.
C.J. Miles, a 6-6 wing who played for the Cleveland Cavaliers has reportedly come to terms on a 4-year deal with the Pacers.
Miles averaged 9.9 points and shot a career-best 39 percent from 3-point range last year.
The team also signed Croatian forward Damjan Rudez. Rudez is 6-10 but is known for his long-range shooting, last year he shot 43 percent from beyond the arc in a Spanish league.
Improving the team's perimeter shooting is a priority after the Pacers ranked 22nd in the league in 3-pointers per game.
Free agents will be able to sign contracts on July 10.
The Pacers did ink undrafted rookie Shayne Whittington of Western Michigan Wednesday. Whittington is a prospect but due to a knee injury he suffered in workouts he won't be available until early next year.
