(Indianapolis) - The drivers of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series have the weekend off, before coming to IMS for the Crown Royal 400 at the Brickyard.
Even Kyle Busch, who will drive anything, anytime, and many times come away with a win is sitting out this weekend's Nationwide Series standalone race at Chicagoland Speedway.
Busch is still looking for his first 400 win and he says his team is trying to find the right balance for the Brickyard.
"You have to have a short-track setup but with a superspeedway body essentially" Busch said. "You've got to carry a lot of speed down the straightaways, but you also have to have a big horsepower motor and get down them straightaways quick. We tested there a couple weeks ago. We weren't as fast as we wanted to be, but we were better than other cars that were at the test, so we've got something to look forward to but yet know that hopefully we can zone in on where some more speed is at."
