(Indianapolis) - The Colts wrap up their preseason schedule tonight against the Bengals in Cincinnati.
It's the final chance for several players to make the team, but another group won't even see the field.
Coach Chuck Pagano is keeping the list of those players close to the vest.
"I don't really want to discuss those at this time. I think it's probably obvious, some of them that we would take care of and probably not put out there like I said for obvious reasons" Pagano said. "There's some guys nicked up that we want to get on the mend and give them a day or two to heal up. We're still looking at that and we'll make some decisions."
The Colts opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals have spent their training camp and preseason getting used to a new set of coordinators. The team lost both their offensive and defensive coordinator to head coaching jobs in the offseason, leaving head coach Marvin Lewis to start over with Hue Jackson on the offense, and Paul Guenther running the defense.
Lewis is happy with the transition so far.
"I'm very pleased with both of our coordinators and where we are right now" Lewis said. "I think both have done a great job of putting together our training camp, our installation, our practices and on into the timing for the preseason games thus far. The way they have previewed the opponents for the players -- albeit only one day the first two weeks and then a couple days last week -- things have unfolded just as they described to the players. They've gained the credibility".
