(Indianapolis, IN) - Still recovering from their 17 point loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers the Colts got back home to put the game behind them and start preparing for their week nine matchup against the New York Giants.
When asked if the loss will add any extra motivation in practice this week Andrew Luck said he didn't think it would affect preparation for their next game and that the team is a "prideful team" that will practice with a "good attitude like the always do".
The Colts got some good news on cornerback Vontae Davis who's MRI revealed nothing major on his knee meaning Davis could be back in time for Week 9's game against the Giants. The same could not be said for linebacker Erik Walden who is week to week with a hip flexor injury.
The Colts are optimistic that Reggie Wayne could return to the field sometime this week. Wayne is still day-to-day with an elbow injury but looks like he should be ready to return in time for Monday's game against the Giants.
