(Indianapolis, IN) - The Colts defense faces a difficult assignment on Sunday when the Baltimore Ravens come to town.
Joe Flacco has only been sacked three times in the first four games. The Colts have had good pressure on opposing quarterbacks the first four weeks as they rank 13th in the NFL with eight sacks.
The Colts had some good news as linebacker Jerrell Freeman returned to practice Wednesday, Freeman has been out dealing with a hamstring injury since week one. Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens had three starters sit out of their practice as linebacker Terrell Suggs, defensive end Chris Canty and offensive lineman Eugene Monroe all watched from the sidelines during the team's Wednesday practice. No decision has been made on their status for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Colts safety LaRon Landry was suspended earlier this week for four games after violating the NFL's performance enhancing drug policy. Head coach Chuck Pagano addressed his thoughts on Landry's actions say he was "disappointed" and that Landry needs to understand there are consequences for his actions.
