Last updated on Monday, October 20, 2014

(Indianapolis, IN) - It was a hard hitting affair at Lucas Oil Stadium and the Colts were the ones delivering the shots as Indy knocked out the Cincinnati Bengals 27-0 and planted their feet as one of the AFC’s elite teams.

It was Indy's first shutout since 2008 and it was the first time Cincy was held scoreless in a game since 2009.

The Colts Luck went 27 for 42 for 344 yards and two touchdowns while the defense stifled Andy Dalton and the Bengals offense. Indy's D held Cincy's offense to just 135 total yards and sacked Andy Dalton four times. The Colts D has been in the zone the past four games with 8 turnovers, 16 sacks and holding opponents to an average of 18.8 points per game.

The Colts have won five straight games, are 5-2 on the season and are gaining separation from the rest of the AFC South.

The Colts head to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers in Week 8.
