(Indianapolis, IN) - Colts owner Jim Irsay made his first public comments since returning from his six game suspension.
Irsay was suspended by the NFL for the first six games of the season after pleading guilty to driving while intoxicated charges stemming from his arrest in May.
Irsay said it was tough to be away from the team but he is glad to be back.
Irsay said he believes something good came from his ordeal and he has learned to appreciate what he has even more.
Meanwhile, Colts' punter Pat McAfee was honored with the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week Award. It was the first time McAfee has received the award.
McAfee was honored earlier this season as September's AFC Special Teams Player of the Month.
