(Indianapolis, IN) - The Pacers were already starting the season in less than ideal circumstances with Paul George out for the year but with David West, George Hill and C.J. Watson all expected to miss the first few games of the season the team is more shorthanded than ever.
That hasn't changed team president Larry Bird's expectations for the team as he said despite the early season hurdles he believes the team can overcome adversity and still make the playoffs.
The team could also be without guard Rodney Stuckey as he deals with foot issues, he is a game time decision.
The Pacers tip off their season tonight in front of their hometown crowd against the Philadelphia 76ers at 7pm.
