(Indianapolis, IN) - The Pacers got their regular season started off on the right foot as they topped the Philadelphia 76ers 103-91.
The short-handed Pacers got a big game from Roy Hibbert who knocked down 22 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had seven blocks while Rodney Stuckey had 16 points. Donald Sloan recorded a double double for Indiana with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Head coach Frank Vogel said he knows this team will be short-handed to start the season but they just have to go out there, play like a team and "do whatever it takes to win".
The Pacers head to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies on Halloween night.
