(Pittsburgh, PA) - The Colts five game win streak came to a halt in Pittsburgh yesterday as the Steelers dominated the Colts 51-34.
Ben Roethlisberger was locked in as he set franchise records in passing yards and touchdowns. Big Ben finished 40 for 49 for 522 yards and six touchdowns. Roethlisberger is the first player in NFL history to throw for over 500 yards in two games.
Antonio Brown caught 10 balls for 133 yards and two scores.
For the Colts, it was a frustrating afternoon as all three phases struggled to find any rhythm. Andrew Luck finished the game 26 for 45 for 400 yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 picks.
Head coach Chuck Pagano said the Colts "ran in to a buzzsaw" and "failed in all three phases of the game".
Colts linebacker Andy Studebaker said the loss falls on the defense for not having an answer for Big Ben and the Steelers but that the team is not in "panic mode".
The Colts have eight days to prepare for their next game, when they take on the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.
