(Indianapolis, IN) - After Sunday’s blowout loss to the New England Patriots the Colts got some news that added injury to insult as running back Ahmad Bradshaw suffered a fractured fibula in Sunday’s game and now has the remainder of his season in doubt.
The severity of Bradshaw's injury was felt throughout the locker room as coaches and players like Cory Redding all knew his contributions went beyond what he did on the field. "He was a leader on and off the field." Redding said on Bradshaw while Chuck Pagano echoed those statements saying you "hate to see it" and that he is "a warrior".
Running back Dan "Boom" Herron is expected to see an increased workload from here on out.
With most players looking to move on from Sunday night's debacle Colts safety Sergio Brown remained critical of Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski saying on Twitter that he "had the straps" on Gronk before the tight end was penalized for throwing Brown into a cameraman.
Brown has since deleted the tweets but it was too late as the tweets were seen by his followers and sent back out across social media.
Gronkowski ended the game with 4 catches for 71 yards and a touchdown.
