(Indianapolis, IN) - For all the talk lately of the New England Patriots and breaking NFL rules it’s surprising to see that of all 32 NFL teams, the team that racked up the most amount of fines was none other than the Indianapolis Colts with over $4 million dollars.
The Colts were far and away the most fined team as the second most fined team, the Arizona Cardinals were $1 million dollars less than Indianapolis. For comparison, the least fined team was the Houston Texans with just over $33,000 for the season.
The Colts may not know when they play next season but they know who they play as all 32 teams' opponents for next season were finalized. The Colts will see several elite quarterbacks come to Lucas Oil Stadium headlined by Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Other opponents will be Tom Brady and the Patriots, Drew Brees and the Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who will possibly have top pick in the draft be quarterbacks Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota.
