(Atlanta, GA) - Last night’s game with the Pacers squaring off against the Atlanta Hawks was a tale of two teams going in completely opposite directions.
The Pacers ran into a buzzsaw as the Atlanta Hawks manhandled the Blue & Gold 110-91 on their way to a franchise tying 14th consecutive win; they haven't lost since December 26th.
Jeff Teague and DeMarre Carroll led Atlanta with 17 points apiece. For the Pacers, C.J. Miles led all scorers with 18 points. Indiana shot a paltry 39% from the floor and dropped their sixth straight game. It marks the third time this season the Pacers have lost at least six straight games.
The Pacers are currently 0-3 on their current five game road trip and their next stop is with Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat on Friday night.
According to Forbes magazine, the Pacers franchise value has skyrocketed by over $355 million dollars since last year to $830 million dollars. The Pacers rank 21st out of the 30 NBA franchises as far as value.
Eleven NBA franchises are now worth at least $1 billion dollars with the Los Angeles Lakers topping the list at a value of $2.6 billion.
