(Piscataway, NJ) - Purdue got back in the win column as they topped Rutgers 61-51.
A.J. Hammons led the Boilermakers with 17 points and 7 rebounds and 4 blocks while Raphael Davis contributed 13 points.
After the game Hammons said, "I'm just trying to play up to par for my team and just do what I need to do to win."
Purdue's defense was the story again as they held Rutgers to just 33% shooting from the field.
The win gives the Boilermakers their sixth win in eight games and eight of their last twelve. Rutgers dropped their ninth game in a row.
