(Indianapolis, IN) - The Pacers got a much needed 114-109 victory over the Detroit Pistons.
George Hill returned to the starting lineup and led all scorers for 20 points while Roy Hibbert earned a 16 points, 12 rebound double double.
Frank Vogel said Hill's return provided a spark. "He was big for us, he brings a great energy and I think that was evident tonight."
Teammate David West echoed those statements saying Hill "got the team's wheel's turning".
For Hill, it was great to be back on the floor and knock some of the rust off but he still has a way to go before he feels 100%.
"My conditioning is at an all-time low so it's going to take a couple of games to get my legs back under me so I need to take it one day at a time."
The Pacers have an off day Thursday as they prepare for their huge Friday night matchup when LeBron James and the red hot Cleveland Cavaliers come to town.
