(Indianapolis, IN) - The Colts made a pair of moves on Tuesday as they signed long snapper Matt Overton to a contract extension for at least one more season.
Terms of the deal were not immediately available but assures that the Pro Bowler remains a Colt through the upcoming season.
Indy also signed free agent defensive end Earl Okine from the Fall Experimental Football League.
Reports say there is mutual interest between the Colts and potential free agent wide receiver Andre Johnson. The Houston Texans are looking to deal Johnson but if unable to find a trade partner will reportedly just release him.
On Tuesday, Colts' punter Pat McAfee took to his Twitter account to pitch Indianapolis as a must sign destination for possible free agents like defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh and wide receiver Andre Johnson. The Pro Bowl punter tried to entice both men about Indy being a great landing spot once free agency starts on March 10th.
