(Indianapolis, IN) - The Pacers took care of business against the Philadelphia 76ers 94-74 and the win gave Indiana sole possession of the eighth seed in the playoffs.
A late surge by the Sixers made the game interesting, something Frank Vogel says can't continue to happen. "We get to a moment where we feel we can put a team away and opponents seem to be able make some big shots to stay in the game and we have to make those stops."
Roy Hibbert had a big game for Indiana with a 14 point, 15 rebound double double and after having a heart to heart with the big man earlier in the week, Vogel said it was a performance he was happy to see.
"I think tonight was the best he looked in weeks. I challenged him earlier in the week to be more active and he was great tonight."
The Pacers have a couple of days off before hosting the New York Knicks on Wednesday.
