(Indianapolis, IN) - The Colts to continue to look to add to their roster via free agency.
Sources say the club met with former Falcons safety Dwight Lowery. Lowery spent his first six seasons with the Jets and Jaguars. No deal was agreed to as of yet but should Lowery join the Colts, he would most likely compete with Mike Adams for starting duties.
The Colts are bringing back Dan "Boom" Herron for 2015. Herron signed his exclusive rights tender on Wednesday. Herron will join Frank Gore and Vick Ballard in the Colts' backfield.
Meanwhile, linebacker Robert Mathis says he should be ready to go by the time training camp rolls around in July. The Colts all-time sack leader said "I should be clicking in camp, that's my plan. I'm a competitor, if I can get out there with one Achilles, I'll do it."
