(Indianapolis, IN) - In the second practice session of the Indianapolis 500 it was Helio Castrovenes with the fastest time.
Castoneves clocked in at :39.558 seconds with a top speed of 227.514 MPH. Simon Pagenaud wasn't far behind with a time of :39.580. Scott Dixon, Justin Wilson and Townsend Bell rounded out the top five. Sage Karam, who finished at the top of the first practice, clocked in at 17th.
Catroneves also clocked the best non-tow speed at 225.315MPH.
Simona de Silvestro was uninjured when her car caught fire on the backstretch of the Speedway. A team spokesman says a fuel leak was the cause for the fire.
