(Trenton, NJ) - The Colts are among 14 NFL teams who have accepted tax dollars from the U.S. Department of Defense to have patriotic displays as part of their game day festivities.
The Colts were paid $620,000 from 2011 to 2014 for salutes to the military as well as other advertising. That amount of money puts the Colts at #4 on the list with the Atlanta Falcons accepting the most money, with over a million dollars in taxpayer money.
