(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University’s path toward a possible NCAA Tournament run will include a matchup with the defending national champions.
The Hoosiers are expected to travel to Duke for the coming season's ACC/Big Ten Challenge, marking the first meeting between the traditional blue-blood programs since 2006-07, when the same competition brought them together in Durham. Duke won that game 54-51, and the Blue Devils defeated IU in Bloomington one year earlier, 75-67.
IU will face Duke on Wednesday, Dec. 2.
It will be the eighth all-time meeting between the two basketball teams.
ESPN has finalized the time and network designations for the 15th annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge Presented by DICK'S Sporting Goods. ESPN networks will combine to cover every game of the event during the first week of December.
ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will televise the 14 games of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge - including all 14 Big Ten schools and 14 of 15 ACC teams - from Monday, Dec. 1 through Wednesday, Dec. 3.
