(UNDATED) - The Pacers drew the 11th overall pick in the NBA Lottery.
President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird was on hand for the drawing and said while he was hoping for a higher pick he has confidence the team will get the right player.
"Obviously, we would have liked to have had a higher pick but I think this is a deep draft and I'm happy with where we're selecting."
The Pacers have had luck with the #11 pick in the past when they drafted Reggie Miller with it in 1987.
The Minnesota Timberwolves got the #1 overall pick followed by the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks and Orlando Magic. The NBA Draft takes place on June 25th.
