(Bloomington, IN) - Michigan transfer Max Bielfeldt will spend his fifth year of eligibility in Bloomington as he announced on Twitter that he was joining the Hoosiers.
The 6'8" forward said he chose IU because he believes he'll fit in well with the team and he believes coach Tom Crean is really good at developing players.
The Peoria, Illinois native was granted permission to transfer without penalty in-conference and says he's happy to stay in the Big Ten.
Bielfeldt adds depth to an IU roster in search of size and post help after the dismissals of Devin Davis and Hanner Mosquera-Perea.
