(South Bend, IN) - Sources say Notre Dame running back Greg Bryant has been suspended for the first four games of the season for violating team rules.
No details were given as to what team rules the junior running back violated. Bryant will miss games against Texas, at Virginia, Georgia Tech and UMass. He will be eligible to return October 3rd at Clemson.
On a positive note the Irish got a commitment from Florida safety Spencer Perry. The 6-foot-3 defender de-committed from the Gators and joined Notre Dame's rapid growing 2016 recruiting class.
The team also got a commitment from Texas tight end Brock Wright for the 2017 class.
