(Indianapolis, IN) - The Colts parted ways with veteran offensive tackle Gosder Cherilus.
Cherilus joined the Colts in 2013 and signed a five-year contract worth $34.5 million dollars. He started all 29 games he played for Indianapolis but went on injured reserve with shoulder and groin issues at the end of last season.
Jack Mewhort is expected to get first crack at taking over for Cherilus when the Colts start training camp at the end of the week.
Meanwhile, over the weekend the Colts finally signed third-round picks D'Joun Smith and Henry Anderson. The two remained the only unsigned draft picks in the entire league. Both inked four-year deals.
