(San Antonio, TX) - David West opted out of the final year of his $36.6 million dollar contract with the Pacers and has reportedly signed a veteran minimum contract with the San Antonio Spurs.
The contract is reportedly worth $1.4 million dollars, leaving over $12 million dollars on the table for the chance to win a championship.
The 34-year old joins All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge, Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green as San Antonio's growing list of big money deals.
Sources say West turned down larger offers from the Warriors, Cavaliers and Wizards.
