(Indianapolis, IN) - Despite starting 79 games in the regular season and playing in all 82, Solomon Hill elected to play in summer league.
Hill views it as an opportunity to get better and embraces his role as a leader to the young guys.
"If I can help guys in any way get it right the first time then that's what I'm here for. To shed light on things, show them weak areas in their game and, you know Myles (Turner) is 19 years old so he's not going to get everything right away so my job is to make it easy for him."
Meanwhile, former Pacer David West sent out a thank you tweet to Pacers fans.
"Thanks Indy for giving me a chance. Thanks for the support over the last four years. Love is love."
The Knicks were rumored to be a possible landing spot for West but the Indianapolis Star says West squashed those rumors saying he wants to go to a contender and the Knicks, much like the Pacers, don't qualify as contenders in his eyes.
